Seeking a new attorney (0 – 3 years experience) to mentor and develop into an estate and trust attorney.  Learn how to draft estate plans, work directly with clients, prepare and administer wills and trusts, and handle estate administration and guardianship cases.  We will come up with a plan to help you develop your skills based on your strengths and your professional goals.

Our team consists of four seasoned attorneys, all with an excess of 20 years of experience, which means that you will have the support you need to guide you quickly through your professional development.  We also have three paralegals who can help provide you the support you need.

​

The ideal applicant is interested in working with families to address and resolve legal issues surrounding death and incapacity.  You will be assigned your own cases and have an opportunity to work independently.

Critical Requirements:  A law degree from an accredited law school. You need to be detailed oriented.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of organization / multi-tasker

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Spanish speaking is a plus but not necessary

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois

 

Hours:  Full time.

 

Job Description:

• Drafting Wills, Trusts, and related documents

• Manage client files

• Able to communicate with clients

• Appear on court calls for estate administration and guardianship cases

 

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience and background.
